Annette Ivy

Annette Ivy, age 63, of Gatesville passed away Friday, July 18, 2014. A Time of Remembrance and Visitation with the family will be from 2-3 PM on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Annette was born on July 15, 1951 in Dallas County, Texas to Raymond Dean Franklin and Ruby June Baker Franklin. She grew up in Garland and Lake Tawokoni. She graduated from Rains High School in 1969. Annette married Jerry Ivy on December 21, 1968. They moved to Gatesville in 1975. She worked at Smead Manufacturing, retiring in 1994. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Mark Franklin and Billy Ray Franklin. Annette is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jerry Ivy; son, Brian Ivy and wife, Karla; daughter, Michayel Smith and husband, Reed; sisters, Barbara Eason, Judy Hocker, Karen Hill, and Patricia Marion; brothers, Jimmy Franklin, Raymond Dean Franklin, Jr., and Robert Lynn Franklin; and seven grandchildren, Shyloh Smith, Dykota Smith, Nadálee Ivy, Baylee Ivy, Mattison Ivy, Keagen Ivy, and Mason Ivy.
