Sonda Beth Fisher

Sonda Beth (Barbee) Fisher, age 63, died Monday, July 28, 2014 in her country home. Her life was celebrated by family in a private ceremony. Beth was born on January 20, 1951 in Floydada, Texas to Mamie Floy (Holland) Barbee and Ellis Jackson Barbee. In 1967, she married Darrell Wayne Fisher. With God’s help they grew a beautiful family and life together for over 47 years. Beth devoted her life to God and her family, becoming the most beloved wife and mother. She took care of everything and everyone with a warm pie, and a beautiful smile. Beth followed God alone. You would have never met a more devoted Christian than her. Beth is survived by her husband, Darrell Wayne Fisher; four daughters, Melissa Lancaster and husband, Michael, Christina Rhodes and husband, Scotty, Angela Morphet and husband, Bates Donaldson, and Daryl (Pooh) Morris and husband, Zachary; 14 grandchildren, Michael Lancaster, Clarence (Joey) Lancaster, Jonathan (Johnny) Lancaster, Matthew Lancaster, Tiffany Rhodes, Scotty (Scooter) Rhodes, Colton Rhodes, Savannah Rhodes, Tasha Morphet-Dubay, Cassandra (Cassie) Morphet, Taylor Donaldson, Isaiah Morris, Elijah Morris, and Jessie Morris; and five great-grandchildren, Joseph Rhodes, Axel Rhodes, Lane Rhodes, Shaelee Dubay, and Conner McGehee (due Sept. 2014).
