Eula M. Batchelor

Eula M. Batchelor, age 74, of Gatesville passed away Friday, August 8, 2014. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 23, 2014 at First Assembly of God in Goldthwaite, Texas. Eula was born on January 12, 1940 in Welch, Texas and moved to Denver City, Texas where she was raised and attended school. She was a homemaker and caretaker and loved to spend time with family. She was preceded in death by her parents, James H. Fortenberry and Opal L. Fortenberry; husband, William O. Batchelor; sisters, Viola Covey and Bonnie Abner; and children, Ronnie Hallford, Willie Batchelor, Larry Batchelor, and Dannie Batchelor. Eula is survived by her sister, Fannie Fortenberry; children, Gary Batchelor, Steve Batchelor, Woodie Batchelor and wife, Jacquie, Opal Batchelor, Georgia Tyler and Karen Adams, Wilmer Batchelor and wife, Desiree; 26 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
