Alfredo Robles

Alfredo Robles, 82, of Gatesville passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial following at Restland Cemetery. A Rosary will be held at 6 PM on Thursday at the funeral home with a visitation following until 8PM. Alfredo was born March 4, 1932 in Mexico to the late Juan and Agueda Cardenas Robles. He married Amparo Barrientos on January 14, 1962 in Mexico. After getting married they moved to Pidcoke where he worked for Bulldog Turner for many years. He also worked for Dale Robinson for 13 years in Avoca, Texas. In 1995 they moved back to Gatesville and he worked on different ranches. Alfredo was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers and 1 sister. Alfredo is survived by his wife of 52 years, Amparo Robles; children, Anita Robles, Alfredo Robles, Jr. and wife Rosa, Albaro Robles, Amparo Garcia and husband Ray, Amelia Modest and husband Derrick, Abel Robles; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
