Raby (Dickie) Wilson

Raby (Dickie) Wilson, age 96, of Gatesville passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 8, 2014 at the funeral home. Mrs. Wilson was born on April 20, 1918 in Coryell County, Texas to the late Joe H. Burt and Carrie Elizabeth Waits Burt. She grew up in the South Mountain community of Coryell County. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Hilton Reneau and Bill Wilson. She was a longstanding member of First Baptist Church in Grapevine. She has resided in Gatesville since 2002. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her son, Horace Reneau and wife, Shirley of Gatesville; four grandchildren, Ken Reneau, Carrie Spivey, Sharon Shedd, Jesse L. Fowler; and ten great-grandchildren.
