Harold Pruitt, Jr., age 52, of Gatesville passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 in Waco. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. His remains will be buried at Turnersville Cemetery. Harold was born on June 17, 1962 to the late Harold Pruitt, Sr. and Eva Sallidino Pruitt in Odessa, Texas. He attended school in Jonesboro and graduated from Roxborough High School in Philadelphia, PA in 1980. He was fondly known as Howie, Bubba, H.P, Harold Wayne, and J.R. In his younger years, he loved to play dominoes, shoot pool, fish and hunt. He also enjoyed reading western books and watching western movies. The prize of Harold’s life was his parents, along with his nieces and nephews. He was baptized at Turnersville Baptist Church as a youth. If you were a friend to Harold, you were a friend for life. He loved his family and friends very much. Harold is survived by his siblings, Cindy Pruitt, Patricia Bresch and husband, Richard, and Felix Pruitt and wife, Diana; nieces, Christine Cooper, Lindsi Pruitt, Kyli Dahlman, Rebecca Bresch, Cheryl (Nikki) Pruitt, Alexia Conners, and Makenzi McDaniel; nephews, Richard Bresch III, Jason Fiero, Gabriel McDaniel, and Jayden McDaniel.
