Carla F. Klutts, age 35, of Gatesville passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014 in Temple. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 19, 2014 at Cedar Ridge Church of Christ with Deral McWhorter officiating. The family will welcome visitors beginning at 10 a.m. prior to the service. Carla was born on November 25, 1978 in Jacksonville, NC to Carl and Shirley Murphy Hardison. She married Skinner Klutts on September 4, 1999 in Jacksonville, N.C. Carla lived most of her life in eastern North Carolina, close to the beautiful beaches and waterways of the Atlantic Ocean. At an early age, she became fascinated with and loved dolphins. The beautiful sea animals, strong and graceful, lively spirited, and beautiful, always playful. They always made you happy just to be around them. These are the same qualities of our beautiful Carla. She loved her family unconditionally; her two children, Cody and Carlee, were the pride and joy of her life. Skinner was her soul mate of her all too short life. She loved her mom, brother, and sister with all her heart. She was always her daddy's little girl and missed him so much. We are comforted in the fact that they are reunited. Carla, strong and graceful, lively spirited, made those around her happy. She was such a sweetheart. She no longer suffers. Our hearts find comfort in the fact Carla accepted Christ as her Savior, was baptized, and will dwell in the house of The Lord forever and ever. She was a member of the Cedar Ridge Church of Christ in Gatesville. Carla was preceded in death by her father, Carl Hardison. Carla is survived by her husband, Skinner Klutts; son, Cody Klutts; daughter, Carlee Klutts; mother, Shirley Hardison; sister, Shirleen West; brothers, Jason Hardison and Darren Morton; and her step-mother, Trish Hardison; along with several nieces and nephews, step-brothers and sisters. Skinner and family wish to express their heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has shown them so much love and support through these past difficult months and especially now. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Klutts Family at Cedar Ridge Church of Christ, 104 Cedar Ridge Road, Gatesville, TX 76528.
