Wanda Louise Garner

Wanda Louise Garner, 65, of Gatesville passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 in a Temple Hospital. Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, October 20, 2014 at Scott’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 1:30 PM at Squaw Creek Cemetery just outside of Glen Rose. No visitation is scheduled. Wanda was born July 31, 1949 in Lindale, Texas to Cleo and Rebecca Gregory. She married Otis Garner on August 2, 1964 in Glen Rose, Texas where they lived until the early 70’s when they moved to Arizona. They moved to Gatesville in 1979. She was preceded in death by her husband, father, two sons; Jerry Garner and Roger Garner and a brother; Thomas Gregory. Wanda is survived by her mother, Rebecca Gregory; daughters, Betty Whipkey, Rebeca Hoisington and husband Jessie, Karen Hoisington and husband Larry; sons, Charles Garner, Arthur Garner and wife Delsie and Allen Garner; sister, Barbara Townley; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
