Bobby Ford

Bobby Ford, age 62, of Lorena passed away October 30, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 3, 2014 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will follow the service in the chapel. Burial will follow at King Cemetery. Bobby was born on March 4, 1952 in Texas City, Texas to the late W. L. (Bill) Ford and Velma Martin Ford. He attended school in Gatesville, graduating from Gatesville High School in 1971. He continued his education at Temple Junior College, graduating with an Associate of Applied Science. He married Cynthia Chandler on December 31, 2009. He worked for Frito Lay for many years and HEB in Gatesville, Temple, and Waco for many years. He was a former member of King Baptist Church, Trinity Baptist Church, and was currently a member of Live Oak Baptist Church. Bobby is survived by his wife, Cindy Chandler Ford; sons, Andrew Ford and wife, Amanda, Jason Ford and fiancé, Jennifer and their mother, Joy, and Wilder Chandler and wife, Alex; daughters, Stacia Chandler and Shayna Huegel and husband, Andy; sister, Peggy Griffith and husband, Dennis; and six grandchildren.
