Minnie Marie Kelley

Minnie Marie Kelley, age 71, of Gatesville passed away Friday, December 19, 2014. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Scott’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gatesville City Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the funeral home. Marie was born on October 8, 1943 to the late Williams James Battenfield and Lena Fouts Battenfield. She enjoyed caring for her family. She loved to spend time doing crafts and sewing. She was a member of Oasis Worship Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant children, Timothy and Patricia; one brother; and one sister. Marie is survived by her sons, Billy Wayne Anderson and wife, Elojia of Glen Rose, James Anderson and wife, Melissa of Gatesville; and Richard Lynn Anderson of Brownwood; daughters, Susan Marie (Anderson) Lauritsen and husband, Jerry of Altus, Oklahoma and Wendie Marie Jackman of Billings, Montana; sisters, Shirley Herrington and Linda Stone, both of Oklahoma City; brothers, Floyd Battenfield of Arizona and Billy Dean Battenfield of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jonathan Anderson, Aaron Anderson, Robert Anderson, Jennifer (Lauritsen) McVicker, Jason Peel, James Lee Anderson, Bobbie Sue Anderson, George Norman, Raymond McMasters, and Matthew Anderson; and numerous great-grandchildren.
