Sandra Watts

Sandra Watts, age 73, of Gatesville passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel with Elaine Lucas officiating. Sandra was born on April 8, 1941 in Oglesby, Texas to the late Jeff and Oma Lee Thornton Warren. She attended school in Gatesville. Sandra married Jerry Watts on July 17, 1963. She worked at Gatesville I.S.D. and T.D.C.J., retiring in 2000. She loved to cook and was an avid bluegrass music fan. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Evelyn Neel, Eva Teat, and Carolyn Warren; and brothers, Ausborn Warren and Jimmy Warren. Sandra is survived by her husband, Jerry Watts; son, Wayne Watts and wife, Donna of Gatesville; daughters, Dawn Bates and husband, Jerry of Wyoming and Shawn Beck of Gatesville; sisters, Dixie Neel and Barbara Watts, both of Gatesville; brother, Richard Warren of Gatesville; ten grandchildren, Justin Cooper, Ginny Rhymes, Cassie Watts, Brad Bates, Diseree Bates, Randa Cernoch, Riann Killgo, Preston Watts, Evan Watts, and Garrett Beck; and 11 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
