Bernie Dare

Bernie Dare, age 61 of Gatesville, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 in Waco. There will be a viewing and time of visitation on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville. Bernie was born on September 7, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Frank and Beatrice Moore Sirriana. She married Charles E. Dare on July 20, 1979. They moved to Gatesville in 1996. She worked for Gatesville I.S.D. as a custodian for 18 years. Survivors include her husband Charles Dare; two sons, Glen Dare of McKinney and Gary Dare of Gatesville; two sisters, Theresa Steward of Gatesville and Kathy Sirriana of New Jersey; three brothers, Paul Sirriana of Copperas Cove, Patrick Sirriana of Detroit, and Mark Sirriana of Gatesville; four grandchildren, Rylie and Austin Dare and Arya and Maya Hasenpflug.
