Betty Ruth States

Betty Ruth States, 84, of Gatesville passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 in Temple. Graveside Services will be at 2PM, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Restland Cemetery. Betty was born on December 3, 1930 in Coryell County to Walter and Lilly Bonds May. She attended school in Crawford, Texas and later married Johnny Burnerd States and they made their home in Gatesville. Betty supported her husband and was a devoted mother and grandmother. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; four sisters and her husband, "Jersy" in 1990. Betty is survived by her children, Jo Ruth Holden, Johnnie Eugene Pick and husband, Joseph, and Charles Edward States; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
