Wendy Seals Brown, age 56 of Flat, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in Waco. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Lance King officiating. Burial will follow at the Flint Creek Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 PM Thursday, April 9, 2015. Wendy was born on February 17, 1959 in Casa Grande, Arizona. She was born to Willie E. Seals, Jr. and the late Dorothy Copeland Seals. She has resided in Gatesville most of her life. She worked at Smead Manufacturing in McGregor, retiring after 25 years of service. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jerry Brown; Father, Willie E. Seals, Jr. and wife, Nora; mother, Lena Boykin and husband Phil; daughters, Amanda Madison and husband Jeff, Kristy Lewis and husband Jesse; sisters, Virginia Seals Weiser and husband Robby, Amber Lamar; brother, Willie E. Seals, III; five grandchildren, Dakota, Jayden, Emily, Megan and Lex and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
