Charles Wayne Stifflemire

Charles Wayne Stifflemire, age 66 of Jonesboro, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in San Antonio. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Coffey Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 PM Friday, April 17, 2015 at the funeral home. Charles was born on February 3, 1949 in Lamesa, Texas, to the late Charles Struber and Louise Graves Stifflemire. He married Ruth Cantrell on November 25, 1967. They have resided in Jonesboro for 35 years. He worked for Rice Inspection in McGregor as a water utility inspector. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Glenn, Ray Floyd and David Stifflemire; and one sister, Susie Stifflemire. He is survived by his wife Ruth Stifflemire; two daughters, Charla Stifflemire and husband Danny Harris, Carla Genovese and husband Bobby; one brother, Adam Stifflemire; and two grandchildren, Blake and Rowdy Stifflemire.
