Paulyne Sellers

Paulyne Byrom Sellers, 82, of Gatesville passed away on December 23, 2008. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Paxton officiating. Paulyne Byrom Sellers was born on December 14, 1926 in the Hay Valley Community. She graduated from Gatesville High School in 1944. She married Vance Sellers on October 24, 1945 and moved to Dallas. Paulyne returned to Gatesville with her family in 1954 and pursued a nursing degree. She worked as a nurse for 35 years with the Coryell Memorial Hospital, Sheriffs Dept, Dept of Corrections and for Dr. Floyd in his private practice. Paulyne was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Gatesville for many years. Her parents, JJ Byrom and Minnie Mae Meharg along with her husband and two brothers, Stoney Lee byrom and JC Byrom preceded her in death. Paulyne is survived by her twin sons, John and Jim Sellers of Colorado; sister-in-law, Betty Byrom and family; brother-in-law, Jack and Gwen Sellers and many friends. She is gone but not forgotten.
