Pat Miller

Patricia Ann Miller, of Gatesville, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 in Gatesville at the age of 64. Services will be Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at 3 PM at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 PM Wednesday, prior to the service. Burial will be Thursday, May 28, 2015, at 2 PM, at Bethel Cemetery in Winnsboro, TX. Patricia was born on November 4, 1952 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Ed, and Marie German. She attended and graduated from Athens High School in Athens, TX. Patricia lived in Gatesville for more than thirty years. She spent sixteen of those years working for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, retiring as a SGT. Patricia loved to do craft projects. She loved to spend her free time sewing and cooking for her family. Patricia also had a deep love for her children and a special love for her grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Eugene German and sister, Cathy German. Patricia is survived by son, Dustin Cook, and wife Kristi of Gatesville; daughter Larissa Stokley, and husband Matt of Mt. Enterprise; grandchildren, McKenzie Cook, Tyler Palady, Kealy Palady, Morgan Barry, Noah Stokley, Ayden Stokley and Daria White, whom she considered a grandchild.
