Rose L. Frost

Rose L. Frost, age 76, of Gatesville, formerly of Waco, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rose was born on August 20, 1938 in Ontario, California to Sam W. Howell and Dorothy Muse Howell. She attended school in Dublin, Mississippi, graduating from Dublin High School. She married Weldon W. Frost in 1975. She worked for Meyer Family Enterprises for 30 years as a personal accountant for Paul Meyer, retiring in 2005. She was a longtime Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon W. Frost; parents, Sam W. and Dorothy Howell; and sister, Ann Sturdivant. Rose is survived by her daughter, Rose Denice Vrba and husband, Gary of Gatesville; grandchildren, Monica Vrba, Jamie Altamirana and husband, Ramon, and Adam Ray; great-grandchildren, Judd Bates, Kennady Moffatt, Gracie Summer-Lewis, and Leila Altamirana; sister, Joyce Howell Cranford and husband, Jimmy, of Columbia, Tennessee; brother, Lewis Howell and wife, Mollie, of Clearwater, Florida; and brother-in-law, Sherrell Sturdivant of Aberdeen, Mississippi.
