Martha Jo Hancock

Martha Jo Summers Hancock, age 86 of Gatesville, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015 in Gatesville. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2015 at Restland Cemetery. She was born on May 22, 1929 in Gatesville to the late Tom and Hazel Cole Summers. She grew up in Gatesville and graduated from Gatesville High School. She was employed for many years at the Gatesville movie theaters and later retired from Fort Hood Dry Cleaning Services. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ed Allen Summers. Martha is survived by her son, Gregory Lynn Hancock of Gatesville; sisters, Weisa Smith of San Antonio, Sandra Baker of Katy, Cynthia Bessie of Ft. Worth; four nephews and two nieces.
