Patsy Jean Hall Rhudy

Patsy Jean Hall Rhudy, age 80, of Gatesville passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015. Funeral services will be 5:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Gatesville, Texas. Visitation will be 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the funeral home. Pat was born on January 9, 1935 in Dallas, Texas to Ernest Thomas Hall and Isabella Houston Hall. She attended school in Dallas. She married Bobby Wayne Rhudy on January 4, 1952. They moved to Gatesville in 1970. She worked for Germania Insurance as an agent for 25 years. She was a member of Levita Bible Fellowship, where she taught and played the piano. She was a loving wife, mother, and especially loved to take care of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isabella and Ernest Hall. Pat is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bob Rhudy; daughters, Gena Sexton and husband, Duane of Gatesville and Rebecca Hunter and husband, Tim of Gatesville; son, David Rhudy and wife, Barbara of Gatesville; grandchildren, KayDee Sexton, Chris Rhudy and wife, Sarah, Ryan Hunter and wife, Paw Wah, Aaron Hunter and wife, Roxy, and Jacob Hunter and wife, Kelsey; sister, Phyllis Birmingham of Scurry, TX; brothers, Bill Hall of Brownsboro and Irvin Hall of Athens, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorials may be made to Levita Bible Fellowship.
