Judy Miller

Judy Miller, age 72, of Allen, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2015. Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:30 until service time on Saturday. Judy was born January 7, 1943 in Asheville, NC. As a young child, Judy moved to Gatesville, TX where she grew up, attended school and raised her family. She was the daughter of the late John and Hazel Smith Sanford. She was a proud graduate of Baylor University. In 1985, Judy began her career as juvenile probation officer in Tom Green County. Upon her retirement in 2002, Judy moved to Allen, Texas to be closer to her family and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sandra Sue Schrank. Survivors include sons, Scott Miller and his children Jack Miller, William Miller, Reid Miller, Luke Miller and Mitchell McMillin and Todd Miller and wife Jamie and their son Logan Miller; daughter, Margaret Deats and husband Stephen and their children Danielle Deats, Steen Deats, Jake Deats and Isabelle Deats; Niece, Amber Erlich; nephew, Cody Schrank. Judy’s infectious smile, compassion and love will be greatly missed by her entire family.
