R. Maynard Fader, Jr.

R. Maynard Fader, Jr. of the Slater Community passed away on Monday. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Scott’s Funeral Home with funeral services at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Slater Cemetery. Maynard was born in Kinston, NC to the late Robert Maynard Fader, Sr. and Eva Grace Letchworth Fader. He married Jaynie Lewis on October 4, 1986. Maynard was a member of the Pearl Baptist Church. Maynard was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Paige Leighann Fader. Maynard is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jaynie Lewis Fader; son, Robert Maynard (Bo) Fader, III and wife, Amy; granddaughter, Ruby Paige; sister, Carolyn Fader Hill; brother, Donald Fader and wife, Angela, nieces and nephews, and his beloved flat coated retriever, Waylon.
