Della Raye Taylor

Della Raye Taylor, age 91, of Liberty, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Restland Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Della Raye was born on February 25, 1924 in Lone Grove, Texas in Llano County to the late Benjamin A. and Della Lee Ray Tumlinson. She moved to Coryell County as a child in 1932. She attended school in the Plainview Community and Gatesville. Della Raye married Lloyd G. Taylor on June 30, 1951. She was a member of Gateway Baptist Church in Gatesville and volunteered at the Gatesville Senior Center and Gatesville Care Center for many years. She has resided in Liberty for the last 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2000. Della Raye is survived by her daughter, Joyce Kimes and husband, George of Liberty; brother, Louis Tumlinson and wife, Linda of Kingsland; one granddaughter, Shannon Seymour and husband, Scott of Beaumont; and a great granddaughter, Shelby Seymour.
