Random Walter Ellisor IV (Randy)

Random Walter Ellisor IV (Randy), age 62, of Gatesville passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 Noon, November 2, 2015 at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service. A celebration of life service will be held in his hometown of Houston at a later date. Randy was born on March 19, 1953 in Houston, Texas to the late Random Walter Ellisor III (Walter) and Wanda Wayne Sanders Ellisor. He attended school in Houston, graduating from Ross Sterling High School in 1971. He attended the University of Houston. He worked for Anheuser Busch, and then many years as a wholesale florist alongside his dad. He moved to Gatesville in 1999, working at Texas Dept. of Corrections, where he retired in 2013. He was a Christian with Christ in his heart. Randy was a kind-hearted person, who never knew a stranger, and was loved by everyone that met him. He loved the ocean and the beach, all kinds of music, playing his guitar, motorcycle riding, kayaking, camping, fishing, scuba diving, and going to the movies. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jason Ellisor; and brother-in-law, Lanny Perry. Randy is survived by his son, Clinton Ellisor (Wally); special friend, Melba Ellisor; brother, Michael Ellisor; two sisters, Pamela Perry and Elisa Ellisor; two nephews; one niece; one great-niece; and his loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. A special thanks to the wonderful staff and nurses at The Meadows for their love and care for the last two years.
