William Wayne (Bill) Mann

William Wayne (Bill) Mann, age 74, of Gatesville passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2015 at White Mound Baptist Church, with Rev. Bruce Cox officiating. Bill was born on January 7, 1941 in Waco, Texas to the late Wayne Mann and Lois McEntire-Mann. He graduated from Waco High School in 1958. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 2 years. He married Debby Johnson on November 2, 1976. They lived in the Dallas area working in construction until retirement in 1996. After his retirement, they moved to Gatesville to be in the country. His pride and joy were his grandchildren. Bill is survived by his wife, Debby Mann; children, Wendy Mann of Austin, Brandi Bailey-Mann of LaGrange, Terrye Lawhon and husband, James of Austin, Maimee Zamarron and husband, Jose of Dallas, and Willie Mann and wife, Jennifer of Gatesville; two brothers, Bob Mann and wife, Cindy of Austin and Joe Mann of Kerrville; and 18 grandchildren.
