Tommie Lee Graham

Tommie Lee Graham, age 101, of Belton, formerly of The Grove, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Deral McWhorter officiating. Burial will follow at Flint Creek Cemetery. Tommie Lee was born on June 24, 1914 in The Grove community of Coryell County, Texas to the late John Thompson and Hattie Wolff Thompson. She attended school at the Seattle and Cold Springs community school. She married Ted Graham on October 26, 1935. They resided in the The Grove community their entire married lives; he preceded her in death in 1992. She worked for Western Hatchery for 17 years and was a homemaker. Tommie Lee enjoyed canning, cooking, baking, and especially gardening. She was a member of Cedar Ridge Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Tommie Lee is survived by her daughter, Melba Kessler and husband, Don of Belton; and two great-grandsons, Trey Harrison and Tanner Green.
