Makai Brooks Lamar

Makai Brooks Lamar, age 2 1/2, of Gatesville passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday at Scott’s Funeral Home with burial following at Mound Cemetery. There will not be a visitation. Makai or “Kai” or “Kaiboy” as he was known was born on June 21, 2013 in Waco. Kai was an energetic, loving little man who could impress you with his vocabulary. He was spunky and full of life. Kai was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Tommy Mize; great grandmother, Pat Sheets and great great grandmother, Lucille Gribble. Kai is survived by his mother, Madeleine Lamar; grandparents, Joey and Brooke Lamar; great grandparents, Lin Mize, Rick Gallier and wife, Julie; aunts, Amiah Lamar and Kainan Lamar; great aunt, Tammy Croford and husband, Todd and numerous other loving family members.
