Inez Elsie Schwalbe

Inez Elsie Schwalbe, age 90, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday January 23, 2016 in Jonesboro. Services are scheduled for 10 A.M. Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Jonesboro Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 P.M. Monday at Scott’s Funeral Home. Inez was born June 9, 1925 in Edinburg, Texas to George Henry Gillard and Elsie Moore Gillard. Inez Married Paul Schwalbe on June 20, 1946. She was a member of the Jonesboro Baptist Church. She was very active in her community and her church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul and son Steve. Survivors include children, Carol Mathers and husband John and Roger Schwalbe and wife Joy; sisters, Mildred Holden and Lois Steckles; brother, Sam Gillard; grandchildren, Wayne Tipton and wife Shannon, Nancy McClain and husband Brian, Vicki Lee, Jeremy Schwalbe and wife Dorothy and Casey Schwalbe and wife Mona; seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
