Barton Kade Warren, AKA “Tater”

Barton Kade Warren, age 18, of Gatesville passed away Monday, January 25, 2016. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Gatesville Civic Center. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. There will be no set visitation at the funeral home, all family and friends are welcome to visit Tater’s parents at their homes. There will be a vigil on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at 3:45 p.m. at the Gatesville High School. Tater was born on September 4, 1997 in Temple, Texas to Richard Heath Warren and Jacqueline Renee Pate. He was a senior at Gatesville High School. He loved to golf, hunt, fish, and chill with his buddies. His favorite sayings were “Suck it up buttercup”, “I got this”, and It’ll buff.” Barton is survived by his father, Heath Warren; mother, Jackie Pate and husband, Baron; brothers, Dustin Warren and Cory Ortega; step-brother, Quane Pate; sister, Jessica Ortega; step-sister, Kendall Wade; grandparents, Jerry and Patsy Barton, Richard Warren and Carolyn Zapata; nephew, Pate Foster; friend, Sissy dog; and numerous friends and other relatives.
