Katherine Marie (Bragewitz) Hancock

Katherine Marie (Bragewitz) Hancock, age 90, of Gatesville passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Mound Cemetery with Rev. Randy Holtzclaw officiating. There is no set time for visitation. Katherine was born on January 16, 1926 in Leon Junction, Texas to the late Charles and Florence (Key) Bragewitz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay W. Hancock; sons, Ray and Ricky Hancock; three brothers; and one sister. Katherine is survived by her sons, John Hancock and Kenneth Hancock and wife, Barbara; daughters, Mary Schafer and husband, Chester and Dorthey Yates and husband, Paul; sisters, Gladys Blackmon and Annie Bess Tippit; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, and nephews.
