Loretta June Morgan

Loretta June Morgan (Hon), age 84, of Gatesville passed away Monday, February 8, 2016. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Scott's Funeral Home in Gatesville with Rev. Matt Dossey officiating. June was born on July 5, 1931, in Bee Spring, Kentucky to the late Shelby Ashley and Lillie Duvalle Ashley. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother. She worked with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) and recently retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice after having served 27 1/2 years. She was very generous, never met a stranger, and loved her family, friends, and her dogs. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Hannah Vincent and Francis Vincent. June is survived by her husband, Herbert Morgan; sons, Carl Harp, Bruce Harp and wife, Karen, and David Morgan and wife, Karen; and grandchildren, Chase Morgan, Ashley Morgan, and Heather Morgan.
