Josephine Weeks

Vivian Josephine Weeks, age 96, of Gatesville passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Hemmeline Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 15, 2016 at Scott’s Funeral Home. Josephine was born on February 27, 1919 in Hamilton County, Texas to the late Robert L. Parrish, Sr. and Lillie Mae McHargue Parrish. She was one of fifteen children. She married Falvey M. Weeks of Purmela, Texas on February 5, 1945. Purmela remained their home their entire married life. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Falvey M. Weeks; and numerous brothers and sisters. Josephine is survived by her son, Rhuben Weeks and wife, Paula Melbern Weeks of Hewitt; granddaughter, Suzanne Goff of Crawford; great-granddaughter, Mallory Goff of Crawford; and sister, Vada Robinson of Hamilton.
