John Henry Davis, 72, of Gatesville passed away in Waco. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Scott’s Funeral Home with burial following at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Liberty Hill, Texas. Visitation will be from 5-7 Tuesday at the funeral home. John was born on March 21, 1943 in Liberty Hill, Texas to the late Jack and Sally Inscore Davis. John was a loving man and very outgoing never meeting a stranger. He also enjoyed watching westerns on TV. John was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sally B. Osteen and Susie Melton. John is survived by his sisters, Minnie Hooper, Doris Conyers and husband, Robert, Janet Melton and many nephews and nieces and a host of other family members.
