Lenora Arnold

Lenora Arnold, age 92 of Evant, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016 in Gatesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church of Evant. Visitation will be at the church, one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Langford Cemetery in Evant. Mrs. Arnold was born on June 5, 1923 in Hico, to the late Edwin and Hanna Walthers Marwitz. She grew up in Ireland and Evant. She married W.L. (Buddy) Arnold on May 15, 1940. She worked and retired as a clerk for the U.S. Post Office in Evant. Her husband preceded her in death on May 27, 2013. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Evant. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, D.E. Marwitz and one sister, Juanita Harwell. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Nunez and husband, Leonard of New Braunfels; son, Kyle Arnold and wife, Rita of Evant; one sister, Frances Covington of Benbrook; three grandchildren, Brent Limmer, Cole Wright, Blake Wright; three great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jamie Limmer, Zaden Wright.
