Mary Line Brod

Mary Line Brod, age 94 of Gatesville, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 There are no services scheduled for Mrs. Brod. She was born on Feb. 13, 1922 in Anahuac, Texas and grew up there. She was the daughter of the late E.J. and Myrtle Crabb King. She was a nurse at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Anahuac for many years. She has resided in Gatesville since 2004 to be near her daughter. She enjoyed traveling, reading and her dog “Sandy”. She is survived by her daughter, Johnebelle Line Chesser and husband, Pat; brother, George King of Anahuac; three grandchildren, Mike Lewis, Joelene Hankins-Bowyer, and Tanis Doucet; and five great-grandchildren.
