Mary Nell Gober

Mary Nell Gober, age 79, of Belton passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville. Mary was born on May 27, 1936 in Mound, Texas to Robert Lee Gribble and Elva Lucille Evans Gribble. She attended school in Mound, Texas. She married Robert Gober on November 22, 1958 in Waco. Her family was the love of her life. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Gribble; mother, Elva Lucille Gribble; brother, Robert Charles Gribble; daughter, Deborah Boone; grandson, Bobby Gober; granddaughter, Natalie Santos; and great-granddaughter, Holli Morgan. Mary is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert Gober of Belton; sons, Jerry Gober and wife, Debbie of Lott, Jimmy Gober and wife, Marty of Belton, and Micheal Gober of Belton; daughters, Patsy Hand of Round Rock, Jeanetta Morgan and husband, Denny of Gatesville, and Karen Rance and husband, Robert of Belton; sisters, Shirley DeBaun and Linda Mize; brothers, William Gribble and Gary Gribble; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
