Lynette Friedman

Lyn Friedman, age 60, of Gatesville passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., March 31, 2016 at Scott’s Funeral Home with visitation until 6:00 p.m. Lyn was born on April 3, 1955 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin to Jack Schmidt and Armine Root. She graduated from Rhinelander High School. She married Michael Friedman in December 1999. She worked for HEB in Gatesville. Lyn enjoyed puzzles and horseback riding. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, John Schmidt. Lyn is survived by her husband, Michael Friedman; sons, Shannon Jolin of Houston, Texas, John Jolin of Land O’ Lakes, Wisconsin, Michael Scott Friedman of Jackson, N.J., and Christopher Friedman of Lancaster, TX; grandchildren, Stephanie, Max, Ramzey, Dustin, Connor, Joshua, Aaron, Christian and Michael; and great-grandchildren, Spencer and Eli.
