Nancy Harris

Nancy Harris, age 65, of the Mound community passed Saturday, April 9, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at White Mound Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Smith-King Cemetery. Nancy was born on October 30, 1950 in Gatesville to the late Jimmie Lee and Pearl Jones Moore. She grew up in Mound and went to school in Flat and Gatesville. She married Dennis Harris on October 26, 1968. They resided in Kerrville for several years, then moving back to the Mound community in 1980. She was a member of White Mound Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Ronnie Moore and Jimmie D. Moore. Nancy is survived by her husband, Dennis Harris; two sons, Ronnie Harris and wife, Vonny, Devan Harris and wife, Liz; brother, Travis Moore and wife, Vivian; and five grandchildren, J.C., Laurana, Kiti, Patrick and Natalie Harris. Memorials may be made to Smith – King Cemetery Association.
