Connie Wright

Connie Elizabeth Wright of Gatesville, Texas passed away Monday, April 11, 2016. Graveside services will be Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Restland Cemetery in Gatesville, Texas with Pastor Terry Johnston officiating. There is no set visitation. She was born November 22, 1933 to Alex and Callie Van Winkle and lived in Coryell County all her life. Connie married Wilton Ray Wright on May 27, 1951. She was a member of Cedar Ridge Church of Christ in Gatesville. Connie retired from Texas Department of Corrections in Gatesville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton Ray Wright; her parents; two sisters, Shirley Norris and Erma Lee McCallister; and one grandson. She is survived by her sons, Mike Wright and wife, Joan of McGregor; Rick Wright and wife, Alana of Springtown; one brother, Gayle Van Winkle of Evant; one sister, Neta Mack of Sycamore, Illinois; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two very special caregivers, Viola Mize and Jennifer Arbuckle.
