Ricky Blanchard

Ricky Blanchard, age 57, of Cameron passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel in Gatesville. Burial will follow at Greenbriar Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Ricky was born on January 7, 1959 in Gatesville, Texas to Bobby and Peggy Burt Blanchard. He retired from Coca Cola after working for 16 years. He loved all Texas sports teams, his cats, and his dog, Chila. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Blanchard. Ricky is survived by his wife, Lucy Blanchard; mother, Peggy Blanchard; children, Tanna Louise Almendarez, Cody Lansford, and Jonathan Lansford; sister, Pam Fuller and husband, Steve; brother, Randy Blanchard and wife, Eva; brothers-in-law; David Corona, Damon Corona, George Corona, and Lupe Corona; grandchildren, David Landsford, Vernon Rodriguez, Jr., Israel Seth Rodriguez, and Jolene Louise Almendarez; and special nieces and nephews, Aaron Ortega and wife, Michelle, Ryan Blanchard, and Brooke Ortega; numerous other nieces and nephews; and great-niece, Chloe Ortega.
