Cheryl B. (Coco) Hale

Cheryl B. (Coco) Hale, age 53, of League City, Texas passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church in Gatesville, Texas with The Rev. Dr. Buddy Wheat officiating. Private family burial will follow at Hemmeline Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2016 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel in Gatesville. Cheryl was born on November 23, 1962 in Houston, Texas to Jimmy and Beverly Bailey Billings. Cheryl graduated from Spring High School in 1981. During her high school years, she enjoyed playing the tenor saxophone. Cheryl met her husband, James T. Hale, and married on April 28, 2006 in Houston, Texas. She was employed at an oil well company for over 20 years as a secretary. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy L. Billings. Cheryl is survived by her husband, James T. Hale; mother, Beverly Billings; sister, Karrie Lynn Landseadel; and brother, Jimmy Ray Billings and wife, Cathy; aunt and uncle, Sheila (Lala) and Chess Necessary.
