B. M. Paul, Jr.

B. M. Paul, Jr. age 77 of Gatesville, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family on Friday, July 8, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. A. C. Painter officiating. Burial will follow at King Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 11th at the funeral home. B. M. was born on Feb. 22, 1939 in the Tama Valley community of Coryell County, now part of Ft. Hood. He was the son of the late Bert and Fenimore Hill Paul. He grew up and went to school in Pearl and graduated from Evant High School in 1957. He worked for TxDot in the maintenance division for 25 years, retiring in 1995. He married Jo Ann Logan Miller in 1974. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on televisions for many years and loved country music, collecting records and making cd’s for anyone. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jo Ann Paul; daughters, Paulette Riley, Jomarra Auge; sons, Ronald Miller, Thomas Miller, Robert Paul, Douglas Miller; brother, Bill Paul; 26 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
