James "Jamie" Lynn Doyle

Jamie Doyle, 50, of Gatesville, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Coryell Community Church in Gatesville with an additional celebration following at the VFW Post #8230 in Gatesville. Jamie was born on September 9, 1965 in Andrews, Texas to David and Fay Boren Doyle. He graduated from Lampasas High School in 1984. Jamie was involved in vocational training which lead him into his love of construction and to follow his father’s footsteps. He was the biggest inspiration to his children and grandchildren. His family was always priority and he was a faithful friend to many. Jamie loved the outdoors, the river, the coast, cooking for others, to live and laugh and was a man of faith. He was a superhero to his family. Jamie is survived by children, Brandy Doyle Magee, Brandon Doyle, Ty Doyle; parents, David and Fay Doyle; brothers, Davey Doyle and wife, Jane, Torrey Doyle and wife, Shelley, Justin Doyle and wife, Skye; grandchildren, Natilie Wilkerson, Bradley Magee, Jr., Chelsea Magee and numerous nieces and nephews.
