Jamie Lea Stone, age 38, of Gatesville passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016. Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 29, 2016 at Scott’s Funeral Home. There will be a private family internment. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Jamie was born on October 12, 1977 in Galveston, TX to James Weaver and Berty Myers. She grew up in Liberty and moved to Anahuac, TX at the age of 12. She graduated from Anahuac High School in 1996. She moved to Gatesville in 2008 where she started her career as an optician. She married Gary Stone in 2011. Jamie loved to garden. She also loved spending time with her family, and spoiling her dogs. Jamie was a devoted wife and loved her children. Jamie was full of life and always had a smile on her face. She had a very close relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jamie loved assisting her close friend Carole Ross in helping with the prison ministry at TDCJ. She was preceded in death by her brother, James (Jimmy) Franklin Weaver, Jr.; and her grandparents, Onnie and Daisy Jackson, William and Edna Weaver. Jamie is survived by her husband, Gary Stone and son, Zane Stone; three daughters, Camden and Savannah McDaniel, and Kinzey Todd; granddaughter, Sirinytee Jo Todd; parents, mother, Berty Myers and husband, Alvin, and father, James Weaver, Sr. and wife, Carole; sister, Julie Hudson and husband, Roy; brothers, Justin and Tyler Myers; aunt, Charlie Faye Rogers; nephews, Zachary and Brent Hudson; and nieces, Sarah, Allysen, and Grace Hudson.
