Imogene Goins

Imogene Goins, age 88, of Gatesville, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton, with Pastor Keith Reich officiating. The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 9th at Scott’s Funeral Home. Imogene was born January 25, 1928 in Hamilton, Texas to the late Ben Jeschke and Lillie Marie Naundorf Jeschke. She married Gene Goins, he preceded her in death in 2004. They resided in Gatesville most of their married lives. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Hamilton. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Glen Goins and a sister Joyce Probst. She is survived by her sons, Rick Goins and wife, Karen of Houston, Terry Goins and wife, Tami of Gatesville; sister, Betty Hardin of Hamilton; six grandchildren, Krystal, Kyle, Drew, Callie, Gene, John; and eight great-grandchildren.
