John T. Earle

John Earle, 57, of Oglesby passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in Gatesville. Graveside Services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Smith-King Cemetery in Mound. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. John was born on March 7, 1959 in Ft. Worth, Texas to the late Otis and Nina Earle. John attended school in White Settlement, just outside of Ft. Worth. He was a master brick layer, working all over central Texas. John married Donna Harrington on July 2, 1994 at Mother Neff State Park. In 2006, John became a lead grounds keeper for Waco ISD. He retired in February of 2016 due to failing health. John was an avid outdoors man. He loved fishing, camping and spending time at the coast. John also loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeremiah Anderson; five brothers; and two sisters. John is survived by his wife, Donna Earle; two sons, John Otis Earle, Jacob Wade Anderson; brothers, Pat Earle and Peter Earle; and four grandchildren, Cheyenne Anderson, Kristy Anderson, Colton Anderson, and Elmie Paul.
