Weldon Littlefield, age 75, of Purmela, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Weldon was born to Gerald and Annez Bevill Littlefield in Littlefield, TX. He attended Lubbock High School. After high school, Weldon went to work in construction as a commercial installer of drywall. He was a hard worker who loved his job. Weldon also loved to ranch. He moved to the Austin area in 1965, where he spent most of his working life. Weldon met Linda Green and they were married in December 2003. They moved to Gatesville in 2005, where they enjoyed retirement and ranch life. Weldon was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Lou Smith; and great-grandson, Kage Nealy. Survivors include his daughter, Sherrill Nealy; step-daughters, Amy Meredith and Trish Griffich; granddaughters Sunday Land, Tyger Trijello, SaLese Nealy, Zoe Meredith, and Kalyn Griffich; grandsons, Travis Nealy and Jackson Meredith; great-granddaughters, Mia, Sara, and Tyranny; great-grandsons, Rain, Orion, and Avan; nieces, Darlene Logan and Patricia Sutton; nephews, Kevin Logan and David Sutton; and good friend, Debbie Kowacich.
