Gregory Don Perkins

Gregory Don Perkins, age 51, of Gatesville passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Restland Cemetery. There is no visitation scheduled. Gregory was born on July 22, 1965 in Uvalde, Texas to Henry Perkins and Dorthy Hurt Perkins. He attended school in Gatesville. He married Melissa Griggs in Mound, Texas on May 15, 2012. Gregory worked for the City of Gatesville for 28 years, retiring in 2014. He enjoyed boating, fishing and computers. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Floyd Perkins; and sister, Valerie Perkins. Gregory is survived by his wife, Melissa Perkins; daughters, Jessica Lones and Tiffany Perkins; sister, Dorothy Oglesby; brothers, Henry Perkins and wife, Diane, Lloyd Perkins and wife, Sara, Darrell Perkins, and Raymond Perkins and wife, Jennifer; and grandchildren, Nicholos, William, Alexander, and Alexis Lones.
