Mary Frances Scruggs

Mary Frances Scruggs, age 79, of Gatesville passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Graveside Services will be at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Ater Cemetery. Mary Frances was born on December 24, 1936 on the Army Camp in Bell County to the late Abner and Flora Diserens Potter. She graduated from Gatesville and worked in the sewing factor a few years before enjoying being a homemaker and caring for her family. She married Morris Scruggs on January 30, 1991. Mary Frances was very artistic and loved drawing, painting, sewing and all types of needle work. Mary Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Scruggs. Mary Frances is survived by her daughter, Sandra Loecken; son, Chuck Redden and wife, Vicky, Dennis Redden; sister, Catherine Dopita; brother, Sonny Potter; seven grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
