Norma Benningfield

Norma Jean Benningfield, age 83, of Gatesville passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Scott’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2016 at the funeral home. Norma was born on September 27, 1933 in the Elijah Community of Coryell County, Texas to the late Carroll Beverly and Ima Edwards Beverly. She attended school in Gatesville, graduating from Gatesville High School in 1951. She was a legal secretary for Robert Brown, Bob Cummings, Bob Salter, Nub Donaldson, and Edwin Powell. She also worked for LTV Aerospace in Arlington and then T.D.C.J., retiring in 1995. She was preceded in death by Cleo Benningfield; daughter, Rhonda Haines Williams; brother, Lanny Beverly; niece, Brenda Beverly Britt; and special friend, Joe Hanna. Norma is survived by her children, Donna Jageler and husband, Eddie, Randy Haines and wife, Lisa, Mark Haines and wife, Kim; son-in-law, Stanley Williams; grandchildren, Scott Jageler and wife, Cheryl, Lisa Williams and husband, Damon, Luke Jageler and wife, Brandi, Barrett Haines and fiancé, Marielle Chambers, Brett Haines and wife, Laura, Amanda Necessary and husband, Bret, Melissa Bartlett and husband, Ryan, William Andrew Haines, Mike Saunders, Blake Saunders and wife, Christina, and Teryn Fain and husband, Chancy; great-grandchildren, Colby, Natalie, Thomas, Adeline, Baylie, Morgyn, Sage, Tate, Riann, Belle, Grayson, Bryson, Kutter, Marlee, Kagan, Brayden, Wacey, and Tribull; brother, Kenneth Beverly; and many nieces and nephews.
